So the summer has flown by and we are already into September and back to school.
Here is August 2012 Bateman style...grab some popcorn, its a long one.
UTAH and EPHRATA
First, a quick trip to Utah where Katie met up with some friends, we made a couple college visits and picked up Emily for her break between semesters.
Another fun year camping and water park time in Ephrata with
the Lybbert, Roisum, Garlock and Blackner gangs.
FAMILY VACATION
to the Oregon Coast.
Such a fun and beautiful place.

We were so glad Bethany and Sean could join us for a couple days.
CANNON BEACH
was warm and beautiful!
We stayed at the Tolovana Inn with the sand just steps from our room.
Inspired by the London Summer Olympics and we
held our own little Olympic competition on the beach. The best sand pit ever!

The sunset bonfire was beautiful!
Preston and Sean were very proud of their beautiful sand castle creation.
It was wiped out by the waves the next morning.
We are missing Christian, next summer he will be with us, yeah!
28 wonderful years...Happy Anniversary!
Emily found a new boyfriend in Cannon Beach...haha.

The kids are squeezing every last ounce of fun and relaxation into the August days.
BACK to SCHOOL
Hannah -8th grade, Katie -Senior and
Preston and Braden are starting 3rd grade.
Yep, Preston is a little sad that summer is over.
Fun times!! I'm a little jealous I wasn't able to be with you and your friends. But glad you had some good times to end your summer on!! love you...
