We had 100 degree weather this week and played hard to stay cool. We enjoyed time at the Garlocks pool during the heat of the day.

Le Tour de Oregon

Mike and Christian had a fantastic time biking down the Oregon coast with our Priests and teachers. THey had quite a group and biked from Cannon beach down to Florence Oregon and covered about 150 miles in all.

Boating fun

We had a blast at the McNaughtons on Lake Steilacoom...tubing, waterskiing and hanging out with Sean, Beth, Lindsey and kids!
Yep, that's Hannah!

Katie's Happinesses

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE! Katie turned 14 in June and enjoyed having both of her grandmas present to help celebrate. We love you Katie!
For her birthday we went to a Seattle SOunder Soccer game, Katie, cousin Kelsey and I--it was great night. We went out to the Cheesecake factory at Southcenter before the game and then cheered on the Sounders standing the entire game with the rest of the crowd!
Katie likes helping Hannah and Preston get ready for church and then taking silly pictures all the time.Young Women activity going to the Farmers Market in Tacoma. I bought these beautiful flowers and brought them home to decorate my room.
EFY Girls group!
This summer Katie has spent hours playing the piano. She loves Jon Schmidt and has learned lots of his songs, the hymns, primary songs, and random others. She is a very capable accompanist and played in Sacrament meeting when Emily, Bethany and Hannah sang a difficult arrangement of Beautiful Savior.

Rainiers game with the Soundview Ward and friends MacKenzie, Kelsey and Bethany Cahoon.
