We enjoyed a planned 4 day weekend--went to Leavenworth to enjoy some snow activities with friends and family and then came home to experience one of our snowiest (is that a word?) weeks ever. We have been out of school for the entire week due to icy roads and snow! It has been a beautiful thing but we are all getting a bit stir crazy and ready to get back to normal. We are so thankful for our Suburban which has allowed us some mobility to get out of our icy/snowy neighborhood. Preston was bundled good and spent the first day of snow building a fort with the missionaries (see fort below). He had such a fun time with the elders. We took the kids to sled at Wilson high school --Katie met up with some friends there. Our winter wonderland has gradually turned to an icy wonderland which is beautiful but dangerous with downed trees and power outages and dangerous road conditions. Thankfully we have been spared any serious problems, and have just been reading alot, playing in the snow, watching movies, going to movies, playing games, and baking.
Lots of great quality family time.......
That snow looks like so much fun! I wish we would get some here :)
