Here are some more sweet memories from the past couple days and weeks before Christian departed. He will be a wonderful missionary! We are excited to follow his experiences and adventures in Mozambique. I will be posting his letters and pictures on a mission web site that he has set up: Check it out here!

Future Mariner

Preston and Braden--first grade cousins heading to school together. We are so excited that Ben, Rachel, Christian, Braden and Birgita have moved to Washington.

Preston loves baseball. It's been a great season so far. He and Christian have also been to two Mariner's games and they watch them on TV as often as they can.

Spring Break

We stayed close to home for Spring Break this year. Katie had a full week of Water polo and we wanted to support her. We did manage to get away for 2 days to Ocean Shores. This is absolutely one of my most memorable places to vacation as a child and I loved being there with our family. We stayed at the Grey Gull, swam in the warm outdoor pool, flew kites, roasted marshmellow and hotdogs on the beach and just relaxed--good times.

College graduate

We had a wonderful time participating in graduation festivities at BYU last week. First there was commencement with ALL the graduates--6000 of them in the Marriot center. What an impressive site! The following day was the Nursing Convocation where each graduating nursing student was recognized and highlighted. Richard G. Scott spoke at both events and Sister Wixom, General Primary President also spoke at the convocation. We felt touched and inspired to think of all the hard work of these nursing students and how they will go forth to make a difference in many peoples lives. Here are some pictures:
We found Bethany and Eliza!
